FAQS and Rules

Rules

1. Junkheap has a hard age requirement of 18+ for all players. Anyone attempting to skirt this age requirement will be immediately removed from the game.

2. Do not kinkshame. Relatedly, respect other people's boundaries. If someone doesn't wish to play a kink, accept that. Also warn for all applicable content in a log so others may avoid topics they find uncomfortable.

3. IC interactions should be kept separate from OOC interactions. Maintain the IC/OOC divide.

4. Do not powerplay, godmode, or infomod. Communicate with other players on what's acceptable or realistic to do with their characters, especially in the event of fourth wall breakage.

5. If you have concerns with how the game is run, player actions, or any other issues, please contact a mod at once so we can take action. We will not take action based on hearsay or rumor.

6. Junkheap operates on a strike system. After two strikes, a player will be removed for problem behavior. However, in the event of more serious issues, such as stalking, harassment, or threats, the player will be removed immediately with no warnings or second chances.

7. Rules and consequences are subject to change at mod discretion without warning based on any problems that arise during the course of the game.

8. Have fun and treat each other well!

Premise

Welcome to Junkheap. This is a game about starting over, about rebuilding the world (worlds?) after a massive destructive event. It's about creating something from the shattered remnants of what once was, using the powers of belief.

Junkheap is a sex-based game. Characters will be required to have sex to avoid fading out into nothingness, and if they want to hurry the process of making the place they live in more livable, they may have to do it more often. Sex recharges characters, allowing them to use belief power more often, either to use their canon abilities, or, if they lack such things, to create and change things with the power of their belief.
